BI - FAST FAQ

BI-FAST is an infrastructure for national retail payment system that enables real-time, secure, efficient, and always-on retail payment for 24 hours.

You can transfer funds to BI-FAST accounts in the form of phone numbers or email addresses as the alternative to account number using CommBank Mobile.

Currently, transfer with BI-FAST can only be done to banks that are registered as BI-FAST participants.

BI-FAST is a transaction method that enables customers to send fund to another bank using proxy addresses (phone number or email address) that are connected to the bank account. The transaction is settled in real time. The proxy address feature allows customers to receive funds using their phone number/email as the alternative to their bank account. Real-time Online is a fund transfer method with IDR currency to another bank where the beneficiary account will receive the fund immediately. The minimum amount for Real-time Online is IDR10.000 (ten thousand Rupiah) up to maximum of IDR25.000.000 (twenty five million Rupiah) each. SKN is a fund transfer method with IDR currency to another bank that takes around 6 hours to process the transaction (the transfer method is based on batch). The minimum amount for transfer with SKN is IDR100.000 (one hundred thousand Rupiah) up to maximum of IDR500.000.000 (five hundred million Rupiah) each. RTGS is a fund transfer method with IDR currency to another bank that takes around 3 (three) hours to process the transaction (the transfer method is based on batch). The minimum amount for transfer with RTGS is IDR100.000.001 (one hundred million and one Rupiah) up to maximum of IDR500.000.000 (five hundred million Rupiah) each. For now, BI-FAST is only available in CommBank Mobile

It is not mandatory to register a BI-FAST account in CommBank Mobile. You can make BI-FAST transactions using bank account without registering a BI-FAST account first. You must register a BI-FAST account only if you want to receive funds through your phone number/email address as the alternative to account number.

1. Login to your CommBank Mobile and click ‘Lainnya’
2. Click ‘Kelola BI-FAST’ and then choose ‘Hubungkan BI-FAST’
3. Choose a phone number/email address that you want to register as your BI-FAST account
4. Choose your CommBank account that you want to connect to BI-FAST
5. Make sure that you have read and understood the terms and conditions of BI-FAST services
6. Click ‘LANJUTKAN’ and click ‘KONFIRMASI’ after ensuring that the data is correct
7. Input your CommBank Mobile passcode
8. Your phone number/email is now connected to BI-FAST

If your phone number/email address has been used in BI-FAST accounts in other bank, you must migrate the account.

You can only link 1 (one) phone number or email address to 1 (one) account number.

1. Login to your CommBank Mobile and click ‘Lainnya’
2. Click ‘Kelola BI-FAST’, then choose the phone number/email address that you want to unlink
3. Press the ‘Hapus’ button and click ‘Konfirmasi’ to proceed with the deletion.
4. Input your CommBank Mobile passcode
5. Your phone number/email address has been unlinked from BI-FAST.

1. Login to your CommBank Mobile and click ‘Lainnya’
2. Click ‘Kelola BI-FAST’, then click ‘Hubungkan BI-FAST’
3. Choose a phone number/an email address which has been registered for BI-FAST in another bank that you want to migrate to CommBank
4. Choose an account number that will be connected to the phone number/email address
5. Ensure that you have read the terms and conditions of BI-FAST services
6. Click ‘LANJUTKAN’ and click ‘YA HUBUNGKAN DENGAN NOMOR HP/EMAIL INI’ after making sure that the details are correct
7. Input your CommBank Mobile passcode
8. Your phone number/email address has now been migrated to the BI-FAST account in CommBank

BI-FAST transfer using account number

1. Login to your CommBank Mobile and choose ‘Transfer’.
2. On the ‘Transfer’ menu, choose ‘Nomor Rekening’, then input your account number, destination bank, and transaction amount.
3. Choose ‘BI-FAST’ as the transfer method and click ‘LANJUTKAN’
4. Ensure that the transaction and recipient’s details are correct, and then click ‘KONFIRMASI’.
5. Input your CommBank Mobile passcode and then the fund transfer will be processed right away

BI-FAST transfer to phone number/email

1. Login to your CommBank Mobile and click the ‘Transfer’ button.
2. On the ‘Transfer’ menu, choose phone number/email, input the recipient’s phone number/email, transfer amount, and then click ‘LANJUTKAN’.
3. Ensure that both the transaction and recipient details are correct, and then click ‘KONFIRMASI’.
4. Input your CommBank Mobile passcode and then the fund transfer will be processed right away
