Validate National Identity Number (NIK) into Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP)

Dear Valued Customers,

Thank you for your trust in Bank Commonwealth.

In accordance with the issuance of Indonesian Minister of Finance (MoF) Regulation Number 136 of 2023 concerning the changes on MoF Regulation Number 112/PMK.03/2022 concerning Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) for Individual Taxpayers, Corporate Taxpayers, and Government Agency Taxpayers, specifically regarding the use  of National Identity Number (Nomor Induk Kependudukan / NIK) as Taxpayer Identification Number (Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak or NPWP), Bank Commonwealth kindly reminds you once again to validate your NIK as NPWP, considering the 15-digit NPWP format will only be valid until 30 June 2024.

You may perform the validation independently via djponline.pajak.go.id website. For further guidance, you may refer to the following tutorials:

Validating NIK as NPWP is fully your responsibility as an Individual Taxpayer. If by 1 July 2024 you have not validated your NIK as NPWP, you may risk being categorized as not having NPWP, and therefore may experience limitations in tax services as well as in banking with Bank Commonwealth. However, if you have validated your NIK as NPWP, Bank Commonwealth will use your 16-digit NPWP as the most up-to-date information in providing our services to you.

Should you need further information regarding this process, please visit our nearest branch, or reach us through Call CommBank at 15000 30 / (62-21) 2935 2935 (international access), email customercare@commbank.co.id or contact your Relationship Manager.

Thank you for your attention.

Sincerely,

Bank Commonwealth
