The use of SMS Token to authorize transaction in Internet Banking/CommBank ID


Dear Valued Customer,

To increase the security and convenience of your transactions through Internet Banking / CommBank ID, starting from 1 May 2024 transactions via Internet Banking / CommBank ID will only use SMS Token as the security method through OTP (One Time Password) .

The use of SMS Token in Internet Banking / CommBank ID is sent via SMS to the mobile phone number registered in the Bank Commonwealth system, and the Customers will not be charged for any additional fees for SMS received. Kindly make sure your correct mobile phone number is registered in our system.
