This privacy policy governs the use of the CommBank SmartWealth ("Application") software which is owned by PT Bank Commonwealth ("Bank") for your mobile device.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

The Application obtains the information that you provided as you downloaded and registered to it.

 

When you register and use this Application, you will generally provide (a) phone number, passcode and others; (b) information you provided to the Bank as you contact us for help.

 

 

Bank might also use the information provided to contact you from time to time, to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions of Bank related products and/or Bank products with third parties cooperating with the Bank and/or third party products cooperating with the Bank.

 

Automatically Collected Information

In addition, the Application collects certain information automatically, including, but not limited to the type of your mobile device, mobile unique ID, the IP address, operating system, the type of Internet browsers, and how you use this Application.

Can the Application collect real time of precise location of the device?

 

It cannot collect a precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Can the third parties see and/or have access to the information obtained by the Application?

 

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Application and service. The Bank will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described herein.

 

The Bank may disclose the information provided and automatically collected:

  • as required by the prevailing laws or authorized judicial institutions;

 

  • as if the Bank in good faith believes that the disclosure is necessary to protect the Bank rights and, your safety, in investigating fraud, or responding to an authorized government institution requests;
  • with our trusted services providers who have a cooperation with us, which do not have self-interest in the use of the information disclosed to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules as set forth herein.

What are my opt-out rights?

 

You can terminate all collection of information in this Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as available in your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

The Bank will retain the data provided and automatically collected Information for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable period thereafter. Please note that some or all of the information provided are required in order for the Application to function properly.

The Bank cares about confidentiality of your information. Therefore, the Bank provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the information processed and maintained. For example, The Bank limits access to this information to the authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve the Application.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Bank will notify You no later than 30 (thirty) working days prior to the effective date of changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Bank’s website. You are advised to learn this Privacy Policy regularly to be able to know in the event of any change, as long as you continue to use it, you will be deemed know, understand, and agree to of all changes.

Your Consent

By using of this Application, you are knowing, understanding, and consenting of how to the Bank processing of your information as set forth herein now and as amended by us. The "Processing," means using cookies on a computer/smartphone device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in Indonesia.
