Open Ended Mutual Fund

At Commonwealth Bank we offer a wide range of Open Ended Mutual Funds providing a full range of valuable benefits suited to your various needs and risk profiles.

1.      Money Market Mutual Funds
Money Market Mutual Funds are considered a lower risk investment consisting of a combination of SBI, term deposit and short-term bonds with a maturity of less than one year. It is designed for those who wish to obtain a stable return while preserving capital.

2.       Fixed Income Mutual Funds
Fixed Income Mutual Funds are focused on medium-term growth through investing in fixed income investments. It aims to provide premium investment returns with relatively low investment risk. Fixed Income Mutual Funds will invest a minimum of 80% of its managed funds into government and/or corporate bonds.

3.       Balanced Mutual Funds
Balanced Mutual Funds are focused on medium to long-term growth through investing in a combination of fixed income and equity investments. It aims to provide premium investment returns with slightly higher investment risk.

4.       Equity Mutual Funds
Equity Mutual Funds are focused on long-term growth through investing in equity investments. It aims to provide maximum investment returns in line with its higher risk. Equity mutual funds will invest a minimum of 80% of its managed funds in equities.

5.       Index Funds
An Index fund is a passive mutual fund that is invested primarily into equity. The equities selected for investment by the fund have to meet a range of criteria, including that the overall fund performance must closely track, within a specific range, the performance of a selected index. Given the fund is passive, management fees are relatively low. This investment product is designed as a long term investment with the objective of growing your capital, with no less than 80% of the funds managed being invested in equities.

6.       Syariah Funds
Syariah Funds are focused on long-term growth through investing in equity and/or fixed income that comply with Syariah law.
